Mike has provided performance and clinical psychology services for the past 13 years across the United States including working with law enforcement, the US Army, collegiate athletes, and other professionals. Recently, Mike spent the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons as the Director of Mental Performance for Nebraska Football, which included back-to-back bowl appearances for the Huskers after enduring a 7-year bowl drought.

Mike specializes in working with individuals from age 12 through adulthood, focusing on helping individuals maximize their potential and navigate life’s adversities and victories. As a clinical sport psychologist, Mike is equipped to provide both healing and mental performance enhancement to individuals under his care. Mike has experience treating a wide variety of clinical disorders including mood, addiction, personality, and trauma disorders, as well as performance issues including performance anxiety, navigating pressure, “choking,” energy management, focus, fear of failure/success, and improving motivation/discipline. His approach focuses on maximizing existing strengths and recognizing the relationship between heart and mind.

Mike utilizes empirically supported treatment techniques which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Positive/Resilience Psychology, and Christian/Faith-Integrated approaches when requested.
