Practice Information

MidWest Behavioral Health has served the Lincoln community at our current location since 2015. We recognize that most psychological and behavioral issues do not occur in isolation. Rather, we view these problems as an interaction among biological, psychological, and environmental factors and we rely on a comprehensive approach to address all of these areas. Our goal is to help our clients become more aware of the relationship among physical activation or arousal, emotion, behavior, and thought. We help them to develop a new understanding and practical skills to support improved self-regulation and better coping.

Our therapists employ a range of methods including cognitive-behavioral therapy, ACT, mindfulness training, biofeedback, neurofeedback, and others. Our board-certified psychiatric practitioners are available on-site for those clients who require medication as part of their treatment plan. Most MidWest providers see child, adolescent, and adult clients and deliver services both in person and by telehealth.
