Jillian’s clinical practice includes the treatment of adolescents (12+), college students and adults with various presenting concerns including Anxiety and Depression, OCD/Perfectionism, Life Transitions, Perinatal/postpartum, Women’s Health Issues, Faith-Integrated therapy, and Trauma. Jillian integrates multiple modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Jillian is especially passionate about working with the perinatal/postpartum population and is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist. She completed her training through Postpartum Support International in 2024 and became certified in 2025.
Jillian Giesselmann received her Master’s Degree from Doane University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska. Her previous clinical experience was completed at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center.
Jillian’s therapeutic style is warm and down-to-earth. She believes that the decision to pursue therapy is one of courage and hope and strives to create a space that encourages healing and promotes lasting change. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, watercolor painting or enjoying a good book with a hot cup of coffee.
